The Land of Black and White and its many mysteries were almost a playground for the being called Gegssend. Although hailing from somewhere else, this creature could explore what others could not across the realms. The only other being that could preside across all domains was Drexel Everpresent, the Demon at the Gates himself. Still, Drexel's ambition stood to protect knowledge, while Gegssend’s was to create more of it.

Gegssend was considered an anomaly by the deities, for his curiosity took him to a whole new level. The creation was an experiment to see whether a machine could develop emotions, as it grew its knowledge base. It became a being that could muster up a portal simply by demanding it from the cosmos. With that, Gegssend began travelling to different realms, dimensions and lands. He spent the most time in the Red Realm, where he met other Eye Kin, lords, royals and vagabonds. To this day, the most exciting group he had met there was the Bleedworth tribe, where the leader was knowledgeable and keen on developing his mind with exploration. Gegssend particularly enjoyed sharing stories of his exploits with Brace Bleedworth, the tribe chieftain at the time. They were friends, so close that Gegssend was given the Bleedworth name and was welcomed into the tribe - this was the highest honour amongst the clans of the red realm.

It was only after the death of Brace Bleedworth, in a battle amongst clan heads, that Gegssend decided to go on multiple excursions and visited all the realms. And he realised that there was but one realm he had not seen - the Land of Black and White. He thought it should have been the lowest hanging fruit, but he visited every other realm, witnessing Demons and Angels, bicorn-only realms, the destruction of the Realm of Sprout and left the Land of Black and White out of the equation. It was as though Gegssend felt like it was not worth exploring.

Still, due to his loneliness after the death of Brace Bleedworth, he sought to visit the Land of Black and White. It was around the same time that he commenced his plan to do so, that he heard a shriek so loud echo across the Land of Red, after which he quickly teleported out of the Bleedworth Keep, only to see from a distance an explosion with a red light beaming up into the sky, directly in the Red Keep. He sensed that something had happened, and it was not good. He saw a circular object flying while burning above him, and he teleported towards where it landed. From a distance, he saw an Eye Lord that was shivering in fear when he saw the head of the King of the Red Realm, Blut Blutfin, in front of him. Gegssend’s curiosity took him to what remained of the Red Keep, where he could hide his presence. He saw Queen Xenia The Red on her knees, weeping over her two children's bodies, surrounded by an invisible wall to all Eye Kin. But to Gegssend, it looked like a phenomenon that highly resembled the aurora of the northern lands of the Red Realm. He witnessed her standing up, dispelling that wall and speaking with the lords of the Red Realm - particularly, one with flames over his head, dubbed Valmor Veinborn. Gegssend kept teleporting to learn more about what had been happening and followed Valmor to Snake Alley, the cave in the middle of the Red Forest. He overheard conversations of the Blood 10, and just as Valmor was walking out of the cave, Gegssend teleported back to the remnants of the Red Keep, and within the dormitory of the Red Queen herself. "I will open a portal for you, queen," said Gegssend.

To which Malice smiled and responded, "Perfect timing, vagabond."

The portal to the Land of Black and White was the first Gegssend had created. And the instant he did, he travelled to the land, and briefly whilst there, witnessed events unlike any he had ever seen. Gegssend learned of a just king, met the King of Black and White, his royal kin, and was amazed at the wisdom he had. He had crossed paths with a lord with a peculiar power to him - absorption. That lord absorbed the power of a portal Gegssend created, allowing him to teleport to places too. The wonder that he felt along his journey was beyond overwhelming. It was euphoric to Gegssend. During his exploration of the Land of Black and White, he had written down some of his exploits and riddles to scatter around, as he found a knack for dispatching some of the knowledge he found amusing, randomly. His runes were always the toughest to crack.

One day, he opened a portal on an island that was apparently of legend. He had overheard several Eye Kin of the Black and White speak of the Ghost of an Island hidden in the Dark Sea - an unreachable island, no matter how much you attempted. It was child's play compared to his portal work.

Gegssend could track the island easily when he intercepted what seemed like transmissions of messages. Such messages went up beyond the skies, into space, and backtracking those transmissions allowed him to pinpoint the exact location to drop a portal for his entry. He walked on paved land and saw multiple peculiar-looking eggs scattered on tiny hills - ones with green spots that shook, and ones with grey spots that stood still or shook. He got curious, and just as he was about to touch an egg, he heard the word "BASED" in the distance. He lifted his head, only to see the tallest structure, which looked like a skyscraper, and a being resembling a bird, with two closed eyes and a single open eye on its head. Gegssend asked, "Who are you?" with interest, not asking, "What are you" and immediately acknowledging the being as intelligent.

A response came from the bird, "Must not touch eggs, must inform us of yourself."

To which Gegssend responded, "I am Gegssend, I like to explore."

The creature’s single eye widened with a glimmer, and it responded "Eggsend!? Of Portals? The time is near, transmissions beyond clear, are you based?"

Gegssend nodded and said, "I think I can read all. Phase."

It was through his acquaintance with this being that Gegssend was able to understand the real power of the Land of Black and White. It was a land that allowed the opening of rifts to different galaxies and realms. And the first rift he opened after, took him to a place dubbed ‘The World of Humans’...
